In real estate, both buyers and sellers lose money to the same middleman. Brokers charge commission from both sides of every deal, often for simply making an introduction. A small business founder came to me with a direct solution: host live online events where property sellers present to interested buyers, letting both parties connect and negotiate directly. My job was to design a platform that makes this self-serve model feel as trustworthy and efficient as working with a traditional broker.

As the sole designer on a 6-week timeline, I was responsible for validating the concept with real users, defining the core user flows, and designing a web experience that could build trust quickly in an industry where people are skeptical of anything that sounds too good to be true.
